Note that this gear lever is mounted under the propshaft tunnel. Then the shift cables end up outside the cabin.

Please note that to fit this shifter to pre-facelift MINIs (up to 12/2003), you will require the MINI R56 facelift shifter cables. (part numbers: 25 11 2 753 893/25 11 7 594 647).
