This Bellowed up pipe kit for your 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke is the fix for the common issue that robs power from your engine. Due to expansion and contraction, and extreme heat cycles, the factory installed “donut” gasket designed to seal your factory up pipes will begin to leak over time. When this happens, engine power can be reduced drastically.
These upgraded up pipes eliminate the the troublesome “donut” gaskets and replace them with durable steel crush gaskets that will not blow out or leak over time. The up-pipes feature a bellowed design that allows for expansion and contraction without need to rely on a factory gasket.

—tab FAQ—
Q1: What are the benefits of upgrading to bellowed 7.3 Powerstroke up pipes?
A1: Unlike the factory 7.3 up pipes, which use unreliable “donut” gaskets, this bellowed design allows for natural expansion and contraction. This eliminates exhaust leaks, improves turbo efficiency, and extends the lifespan of the 7.3 Powerstroke manifolds and up pipes.
Q2: How do I know if my factory 7.3L up pipes are failing?
A2: Common symptoms of failing 7.3 Powerstroke up pipes include:
- Loss of boost pressure, leading to sluggish acceleration.
- Whistling or hissing sounds from exhaust leaks.
- Soot buildup around the up-pipe connections.
Q3: Are these 7.3 up pipes compatible with early 1999 (e99) Powerstroke models?
A3: No, these 7.3 Powerstroke up pipes are designed for mid-1999.5 to 2003 models. If your truck is an early 1999 (e99) model, these up pipes will not fit.
Q4: Why should I choose this 7.3 Powerstroke up pipe kit?
A4: This kit is perfect for replacing worn or leaking factory pipes. The steel crush gaskets offer a superior seal compared to factory gaskets, and the bellowed design ensures no leaks even under heavy-duty conditions, making it ideal for those who tow or use their truck in demanding situations.
Q5: What’s included in the SPELAB 7.3 Powerstroke up pipes kit?
A5: Depending on the selected option, the kit may include:
- Bellowed up pipes (driver and passenger sides)
- Steel crush gaskets for a long-lasting seal
- Mounting hardware for secure installation
- Exhaust Back Pressure Valve (EBPV) and turbo components (if selected)
Q6: How difficult is the installation process?
A6:
