- 25-326857) is NOT compatible with OE wheel backspacing. You must use wheels with 5.75” (or less) backspacing. The largest tire size that will clear with a 5.75” backspaced wheel is a 295 width. Final installation must be evaluated for any potential physical static or dynamic interference between the shock/reservoir assembly and tire.
Reservoir Mounts Included
All necessary washers, bushings, and nuts included. Factory shock mounting bolts are reused for installation. An optional billet aluminum reservoir clamp is available for a more clean and compact look.

Position sensitive damping with 3 compression zones and 2 rebound zones, controlled by 3 independent pistons.
Bilstein twin-tube technology
Twin-tube shocks utilize double-walled technology, where the piston divides the interior oil chamber into two working chambers. Under load, the piston pushes the oil down through the inner working chamber and up into the outer chamber. During rebound, the oil flows back through the piston valve to create a damping effect.
Compression
Provides bottom out control through a 2-stage, telescoping internal compression stop. This feature eliminates the need for an external hydraulic bump stop.
Bilstein Gas-Pressure Technology
Traditional oil shock absorbers, when put under extreme stress, can lead to oil foaming which causes shock fading and results in damping power reduction. In the 1950s Bilstein found the solution to this problem by developing gas-pressure technology.

The external coilovers spring rate is vehicle specific and preloaded to factory specifications, however, the threaded retainer still allows an additional 2 inches of ride height adjustment. The 60mm remote reservoir provides increased oil capacity and enhances cooling. Bilstein B8 8100 is a direct fit, large-bore solution for lifted trucks and SUVs. These shocks are constructed from aerospace quality billet components and utilize a 60MM internal diameter shock body for higher oil volume capacity that will control heat while traversing rough surfaces and long distances.
