Do you want to run your Planar Portable Diesel Heater off of a small portable power station like a Jackery, EcoFlow, Bluetti or Goal Zero? Then this kit is for you!
Most power stations don’t put out enough DC amperage to power a diesel heater, and can cause your heater to shut down prematurely during startup or shutdown. This can case permanent damage to your heater.
Our AC Power Upgrade Kit will allow you to run your Planar Portable Diesel Heater off of any 120v AC outlet instead of 12v. This means any portable power station or solar generator that has an AC port (which is practically all of them) will now be a suitable power source for your heater!
This kit includes the following components which will be installed in your Planar Portable Diesel Heater:
- 300W Weatherproof Power Supply
- Weatherproof AC input port
- Internal wiring to connect the components and switch between AC and DC input
It also includes:
- 6′ AC power cable to plug your heater into your 120v outlet
This kit is compatible with both the 2kw and 4kw Planar Portable Diesel Heaters.
This kit is a service provided by Overland Addict. We will install the kit on your heater and then ship it back to you. Return shipping is included in the price of this kit, and is based on a box size of 26x15x20. If you ship your heater to us in a box larger than this and causes the return shipping cost to be PLEASE NOTE: We are competent in electrical systems and concepts, and have lots of experience wiring and creating circuits. However, by purchasing this kit you acknowledge that this upgrade kit may void the factory warranty on your heater.
